The Washington Opioid Reports Program is a joint public private partnership between the Washington Health Care Authority, Washington State Medical Association, and Washington State Hospital Association. In coordination with health systems and specialty provider groups, the organizations will work to reduce the utilization of controlled substances in Washington State and encourage safe prescribing habits in keeping with State and National Guidelines.
This effort is led by the WSHA / WSMA Joint Opiate Taskforce that has helped guide thoughtful, patient-centered, provider-led efforts to improve the care of patients in Washington receiving opiate pain medications. This task force includes:

•Scott Kennedy, MD, Chief Medical Officer at Olympic Medical Center in Port Angeles
•Sean Dobbin, Pharmacy Director at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane
•Tom Staiger, MD, Chief Medical Officer at UW Medical Center in Seattle
